Janet was appointed the Head of the Centre in September 2004. She is a qualified teacher and was a Primary School Head Teacher for seven years and then an Early Years and Childcare Manager in a different local authority. She has a BA and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has recently completed the new national qualification for heads of Children’s Centres. Her special interests are developing new services for young children and their families, education for under fives, gardening and learning in the outdoors. She is also a member of the Nursery Governing Body.
