At Frizington Children's Centre we value the contribution of all our parents and carers as we recognise that they are the first and prime educators of their children . In order that we can work more closely with parents for the benefit of our children, we offer the following opportunities;
The centre now has a large collection of Story Sacks for children to take home and enjoy with members of their family. If you are interested in joining this group, please ask a member of staff. Apart from thinking up ideas for new sacks and collecting the items together, there is also the weekly tasks of checking the contents and making sure they are ready to go out again. This group would welcome more volunteers, please enquire.
Toy sacks can be borrowed for up to two weeks from this wonderful resource we have at the Centre. Sacks are available for the age range 2 to 5 years. If you would also like to get involved in helping to run the Library staff would be very grateful.

This group is for parents and children from 0 to 5 years. You can also attend on your own for the yoga class. The session starts with a shared time for parents and children singing together with some dancing and games. Then the children move into a crche, run by Centre staff and the adults have a relaxing yoga class, knowing their children are well catered for in the nearby crèche.
Let's Dance takes place on a Monday afternoon in the adjacent county primary school.
